When Arne Jacobsen designed the Bankers clock for the Danish National Bank in 1971, he also created a unique icon for homes and offices. Like everything else Arne Jacobsen created, the Bankers clock is simple and elegant. But it is also created with great imagination and symbolism. All the hour numbers have been replaced with a spiral, consisting of 12 units each of which indicates a time of day. Each and every of the 4 different wall clock designs; Roman, Station, City Hall and Bankers has its own remarkable history.
